Fans of the Dragon Ball saga have long been dreaming about an epic crossover that would see the mighty Son Goku take on characters from other franchises outside the Dragon Ball realm. The most common fantasy fans have is an encounter between the Saiyan hero versus arguably comic book's biggest icon Superman which has been a constant topic amongst them with a lot of geeks debating which one would outlast the other.
The argument has apparently also tickled the imagination of legendary DC Comics artist José Luis García-López who has helped redefine the look of some of our favorite comic book heroes. Now, in an attempt to stir the pot once again among diehard fans of both DC and DBZ, the artist has unveiled a sketch of Goku and Clark Kent who are looking to size up one another before their potential battle. The said image has been making the rounds all over the internet and safe to say it has reignited the debate. Check out the fantastic image here:

A showdown between the two powerful heroes would be an epic sight to see, that's for sure but even though fans have been begging and clamoring for it to officially happen for years now, both DC and Toei have yet to pull the trigger for reasons still unknown to a lot of people. Heck, I don't think it's even being considered, to be honest, but could you imagine how grand that would be? Hey, if Batman and the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles' worlds could collide, there's always hope for a Goku vs Superman showdown to take place somewhere down the line.
Speaking of the Man of Steel, Superman actor Henry Cavill will take flight once again in the Snyder Cut of Justice League which will premiere sometime in 2021.
