Netflix's Daredevil series had an impressive run spanning three seasons but to a lot of Marvel fans, the show deserved an extended run. Now, Marvel had to wait a long time before the rights to the character reverted back to them and it finally happened last year but despite that, the future of Matt Murdock in the MCU still remains unclear. Sure, he's heavily being rumored to appear in Spider-Man: No Way Home and according to reports, Charlie Cox will be reprising the role in the franchise but no substantial evidence supports the claims.
Fans have been clamoring for the Man Without Fear to join the Marvel Cinematic Universe for quite some time now but instead of doing a reboot, they'd rather see a continuation of Netflix's short-lived series. Now, one of the show's key cast members is fueling speculation about the potential renewal of the series under the Marvel Studios umbrella.
Actress Deborah Ann Woll who played Matt Murdock's love interest Karen Page took to Instagram to make an intriguing post that may actually concern the beloved Marvel show. Interestingly, she posted a poster of the 2003 film starring Ben Affleck, obviously the wrong Daredevil project. It's hard to assume anything at this point but given how random and cryptic the post was, is she trying to hint at something? Check out the post here:
It's hard to say what the future holds for the now-defunct series considering Marvel Studios is reportedly adamant about restarting The Defenders which makes all the sense in the world when you think about it given the fact that it doesn't exactly take place within the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Still, that's not to say that the original cast won't be able to return for a Marvel Studios project should the studio pull the trigger and do a reboot.
