Aquaman star Amber Heard is on cloud nine the last couple of days. Not only is she celebrating the denial of ex-husband Johnny Depp's libel case appeal last week, but the controversial actress is also rejoicing the triumph of Zack Snyder's Justice League which is still generating a lot of positive reviews from fans and critics alike, even spawning a brand new movement called #RestoreTheSnyderVerse.

Taking to her official Instagram page, Amber took the time to express her gratitude to the fans for their excitement over Mera's return and her upgraded role in Batman's Knightmare vision sequence. She wrote: "Seeing all your excitement around the release of Justice League @snydercut⁩ and the return of Mera. I get a sword and a crown? I'm in." Check out the post here.

Days prior to the said Instagram post, Heard broke her silence following the announcement that the Pirates of the Caribbean star wasn't granted permission to appeal for his "wife-beater" libel case against UK tabloid The Sun. Sharing her camp's official statement, Amber simply said: "Thank you."

Unsurprisingly, not a lot of people were thrilled to see Amber back in the DC Extended Universe as Mera but that didn't stop them from supporting the Snyder Cut after some fans claimed a few months back that they will be boycotting the project due to the actress' involvement. Now, it'll be interesting to see if Amber actually sticks around in the franchise for more projects as the latest rumors suggest that her spot in Aquaman 2 is still in danger if things go south in her trial.

Zack Snyder's Justice League is now available for streaming on HBO Max.
