The Mandalorian Could Be Visiting Naboo for Season 3

While the first season may have been sparing when it came to fanservice, it looks like The Mandalorian Season 2 is going all out, with appearances from Boba Fett, Ahsoka, and Bo-Katan. While we've visited familiar planets before, word has it that we could be coming back to the home of one Padme Amidala.

According to Making Star Wars, the third season of The Mandalorian has rebuilt the cockpits of the Naboo N-1 starfighter, which could mean that we would see the Prequel-era starfighter make a comeback on the show.

While it's possible that Mando could be visiting the world of Naboo, I think it's also likely that he could run into a squadron using the fighters who are just using the salvaged ships. After all, by the time of The Mandalorian, these starfighters would have been marked obsolete over time. Probably the only reason anyone would still use them is out of necessity rather than choice.

Then again, I'm just speculating here. I would love to come back to Naboo, seeing as it's the central planet at the beginning of the Skywalker story. It would be interesting to see how things have changed over the years, especially after the end of the Galactic Civil War.

For now, The Mandalorian Season 2 has 3 episodes left. Admittedly, the only episode that I really liked was the premiere, and the rest have been a tad lackluster. Even the hyped up episode featuring Ahsoka kind of fell flat and was mostly just for people who were already fans of the character. Hopefully, we get some more substantial stories in the remaining episodes of the season.
