Marvel's Avengers Launches Pre-Orders with New Trailer

Crystal Dynamics was originally set to have their Avengers game release this May, but extra work has resulted in a delay that will have the game come out September instead. The hype train doesn't stop though, and we have a new trailer to launch pre-orders for Marvel's Avengers.

Marvel's Avengers is an epic, third-person, action-adventure game that combines an original, cinematic story with single-player and co-operative gameplay. Assemble into a team of up to four players online, master extraordinary abilities, customize a growing roster of Heroes, and defend the Earth from escalating threats.

Pre-ordering the game will get you the Marvel Legacy Outfit Pack, an exclusive nameplate, Beta access, and more. It's also worth noting that Beta access will come first to PS4 players.

You can pre-order here.

While it's kind of a bummer that it won't be based on the MCU version of the Avengers, I'm sure it opens doors for much more interesting storytelling. Besides the five familiar Avengers that will be playable in the game, I'm excited to meet this game's version of Kamala Khan a.k.a. Ms. Marvel. We know that Kamala is getting her own Disney+ series soon, but this game will be a nice way for fans to get acquainted with her before her big-screen debut. Of course, there's also the comics, which are fantastic.

For now, Marvel's Avengers is set for a release on Sept. 4 and will be available for Xbox One, PS4, and PC.
