Star Wars Battlefront 2 Update to Fix BB-8 and Nerf Darth Vader

DICE might have just recently introduced the adorable BB-8 and his First Order counterpart BB-9E into Star Wars Battlefront 2 through the game's most recent update, however, it seems like the droids still have a few bugs to fix.

EA and DICE have just recently announced their plans (via Game Spot) to roll trough another patch to make adjustments to the droids that they've just recently introduced in Star Wars Battlefront 2 as well as other fixes and balance changes that they want to make to the game.

According to the patch notes for the upcoming update to Star Wars Battlefront 2, the game is going to get a few fixes for the BB units with wrong voiceover lines as well as for General Grevious Clow Rush movie that sometimes drains the opponent's stamina. EA and DC are also working on giving improvements to the collision detection, visual effects, and lighting of the game's MC85 Star Cruiser and the Resurgent- Class Star Destroyer.

The update is also going to give the game a few balance changes. The game's Balance Point gain is going to be reduced by 50% for the Capex Spy, the Ovissian Gunner, First Order Jet Trooper, and the Sith Trooper. This reduction will help align the characters with other First Order Reinforcement units.

Darth Vader is also going to get a major balance change as well. Damage reduction for the Sith Lord is going to go from 75% to 20%.

EA and DICE really work hard at maintaining Star Wars Battlefront 2. The update is set to go live on the game on Wednesday, February 12.
