The premiere of Zombieland: Double Tap is only a few months away and it looks like the sequel just got its own awesome website. Interestingly, the Myspace-inspired site has also revealed the names of Luke Wilson and Thomas Middleditch's new characters.
The official website for Zombieland is actually known as "Zomspace" and yes, it's instant nostalgia for netizens who once had a Myspace page. The page also has a list of Top 10 friends which includes original characters Tallahassee, Columbus, Wichita and Little Rock. New characters Nevada, Madison, and Berkeley are also here and it lists Wilson as Albuquerque as well as Middleditch as Flagstaff. Oh, and everybody's Myspace pal Tom is on the list as well.
Albuquerque and Flagstaff are certainly some interesting new additions to Zombieland 2 considering how much they seem to be like alternate versions of Tallahassee and Columbus. We're certainly looking forward to what these two will be doing in Double Tap.
The film brings back Woody Harrelson, Jesse Eisenberg, Emma Stone, and Abigail Breslin. New cast members include Wilson, Middleditch, Rosario Dawson, Zoey Deutch, and Avan Jogia. Billy Murray, who was killed in the first film, is set to return in Zombieland 2 although we hope he's not going to be a zombie.
The synopsis for Double Tap reads as follows:
"After the events of the first film, Columbus, Tallahassee, Wichita and Little Rock move to the American heartland as they face off against evolved zombies, fellow survivors and the growing pains of the snarky makeshift family."
Zombieland: Double Tap hits theaters on October 18.
