Last month, it was revealed that a spin-off series to Matt Reeves' The Batman has been greenlit. The show would focus on the film's iteration of the Gotham City Police Department, building upon the movie's "examination of the anatomy of corruption in Gotham City." Now, it looks like another spin-off could be set for release as well. This time, it'll follow Catwoman.

That's according to The Cinema Spot, who says Warner Bros. Television is currently working on a Catwoman show for HBO Max. While not much is known about the said series, it will be set in the same universe as the Robert Pattinson feature. Not only that but Zoe Kravitz is expected to reprise her role as Selina Kyle for the series as well.

Unfortunately, there wasn't much information provided, including whether the potential Catwoman spin-off series would be a prequel or a sequel to the movie. However, one thing's for sure, should this show go through, it allows the world of The Batman to expand and grow even further, possibly exploring more characters along the way.

Of course, the studio is yet to confirm this, so it's best to take this rumor with a grain of salt. Regardless, it would be cool to see Kravitz return for a series for fans to learn more about the actor's version of Catwoman.

Along with Pattinson and Kravitz, The Batman stars Jeffrey Wright, Colin Farrell, Jayme Lawson, and Andy Serkis.

The Batman is set for release on October 1, 2021.
