Zack Snyder Reveals What Darkseid Would Have Looked Like in Justice League

No matter how you feel about the movie, there's no doubt that the Justice League movie was a massive disappointment to those that have seen it. It's the movie that made many fans fear reshoots since it was clear that the film was dominated by a majority of them. While many of us hope that Aquaman and Shazam will make DC great again, we still wonder what would have happened if Zack Snyder's version of the film remained.

Well, thanks to a new social media post (via Screen Rant), it seems like we would have seen a better glimpse at Darkseid. In the actual movie, Darkseid is mentioned by name but that's all we hear of him. Sure, there are a ton of New Gods references that would make Jack Kirby happy but they weren't enough to make this movie good.

It's only a drawing of the character but this does show that we could have gotten a glimpse at the New God had Snyder stayed on. Instead, we had to settle for the awful Steppenwolf, who has awful CGI and piss-poor motivations.

Snyder has been sharing a lot of information on how his version of the movie would have gone since it seems like we won't be getting that long-requested Snyder Cut of the film. Some have argued that Joss Whedon did a bad job at re-directing the movie but since he didn't have a lot of time, it's hard to only blame him for it. Simply put, it's the studio's fault.

Justice League is available now on Blu-Ray and DVD.
