Yumi’s Cells is returning for season 2, and TVing just released a new poster teasing Kim Go Eun’s character.
Yumi's Cells is a cell-based psychological romance drama based on a hit webtoon about an ordinary office worker named Yumi. The series is told from the perspective of the protagonist's brain cells that control her thoughts, feelings, and movements.
The first season premiered on September 17, 2021, and has been the talk of the town as it starred several top-notched Kdrama stars such as Goblin and The King actress Kim Go Eun and My Name actor Ahn Bo Hyun.
Concluding on October 30, 2021, Yumi’s Cells Season 1 aired with 14 episodes, with special appearances from GOT7 Jinyoung and SHINee Minho.

Yumi’s Cells Season 2 Update: Block B P.O To Make Special Appearance
In December 2021, P.O’s agency, Artist Company, confirmed that the actor-singer would be making special participation in Yumi’s Cells Season 2 as an illustrator named Control Z.
P.O’s character starts to have a relationship with Ruby (Lee Yu Bi) after thinking their feelings are only one-sided.

Yumi’s Cells Season 2 New Poster With Kim Go Eun
Adding excitement to the upcoming season 2 premiere, tvN revealed a new poster featuring Kim Go Eun as her character, Yumi.
The teaser poster sees Kim Go Eun with her adorable cells, with a pink poster that highlights her cheerful and positive character. Yumi exceeds a more mature visual, saying goodbye to her trademark bob haircut.
Beside her is her primary cell, the Love cell, alongside the Writer cell, which she suddenly recovered during the later episodes of season 1.
Yumi smiles brightly between the two cells that manage her dreams and love, all the more curious about the second part of her story.

Yumi’s Cells Season 2 Release Date
Meanwhile, the TVing and tvN original Kdrama Yumi’s Cells Season 2 is set to premiere sometime in June. 2022.
The full list of the cast members for the second season is yet to be revealed, but it is safe to assume that Ahn Bo Hyun and GOT7 Jinyoung will still appear as Yumi's relationships with them are yet to receive closure.
