For starters, Yumi’s Cells is a cell-based psychological romance drama based on a hit webtoon about an ordinary office worker named Yumi. The series is told from the perspective of the protagonist’s brain cells that control her thoughts, feelings, and movements.

Notably, Yumi’s Cells is the first time in Korean dramas to produce a series using a new format that combines live-action and 3D animation.

Now that season 2 is expected to be released sometime in 2022, the new cast members are slowly revealed. One of them is Block B member Pyo Ji Hoon, also known as P.O.

Block B P.O Confirmed To Make Special Appearance In Yumi’s Cells Season 2

According to P.O’s agency, Artist Company, he will be making special participation in Yumi’s Cells Season 2. He will be portraying Yumi (Kim Go Eun)’s illustrator named Control Z.

P.O’s character starts to have a relationship with Ruby (Lee Yu Bi) after thinking their feelings are only one-sided.

In the webtoon, Control Z is drawn with long hair. Now, viewers are curious to see how P.O will portray the character and implement it.

While all cast members boast high synchronization with their characters, P.O is also expected to complete the live-action version of the webtoon with grace and pride.

P.O debuted as a member of Block B in 2011 and has actively performed in groups and units. He also dived into the Kdrama industry as he strengthened his position as an actor in the dramas Hotel del Luna, Encounter, Degree of Love, Love Alert, Mouse, and so much more.

In addition to P.O, Shin Ye Eun has also been confirmed in Yumi’s Cells Season 2. She will portray the character of Yoo Da Eun.
