You Author Shares an Early Preview of Book 3

Season 2 of YOU was recently released on Netflix, and while the streaming giant hasn't confirmed a third season yet, Caroline Kepnes, the author of the You series upon which all of this is based, is already finishing her third book (and has already a deal for a fourth).

The second book Hidden Bodies ended with a recently engaged Joe Goldberg heading to jail, leaving a pregnant Love on the outside. Kepnes recently talked about Book 2's ending with EW: "That could never be the end because it's such a moment of suspense," Kepnes said. "I feel so thrilled that I get to keep telling that story, because that wasn't the end."

Kepnes couldn't talk about what Book 3 will hold, but she did reveal this to EW: "Joe is really proud of himself because a lot of people in his position descend into darkness after having been through what he's gone through in book two and then in the beginning of book three. And he decides that he's going to be a better person and he's very proud of himself for that. Having dealt with Love's family and dating someone with this close relationship with their twin brother, he's very focused on the idea that he should be the one with the family. But yeah, the main thrust of it is that he's very proud of his strength."

That doesn't reveal much of where the story is heading. I'm just wondering how Joe and Love's relationship will develop in the upcoming books, and if there's another woman involved for Joe.

Season 2 of YOU is now streaming on Netflix, and I have to say that it's the #1 Netflix series for me in 2019.
