Yoo Jae Suk seemingly became Mijoo's mentor ever since the K-pop idol left her former agency.

Mijoo's former girl group, Lovelyz, shocked the K-pop industry when their label, Woollim Entertainment, announced their disbandment. All members – except Baby Soul – decided to leave the company for good and find a new agency to work under.

For Mijoo's part, she transferred to Antenna, Yoo Jae Suk's agency, after Lovelyz's disbandment – and the Nation's MC finally revealed further details about it.

Yoo Jae Suk Helped Mijoo Find New Agency

Initially, Antenna only housed a few musicians, like Jung Jae Hyung, Sam Kim, Jukjae, Kwon Jin Ah, and Jung Seung Hwan, to name a few. Yoo Jae Suk surprised everyone when he chose to sign with Yoo Hee Yeol's agency and became the first non-musician to join the company.

After Lovelyz's disbandment, he reportedly helped Mijoo find a new agency by contacting Yoo Hee Yeol.

During the latest episode of How Do You Play?, the Antenna founder and CEO had a conversation with the Running Man star about Mijoo.

According to Yoo Jae Suk, Mijoo informed them that her contract with her agency was expiring. Thus, she was looking for a new agency.

"So one day, I asked Hee Yeol, 'Hyung, what do you think of Mijoo?' And I could tell from his voice that he didn't really know who Mijoo was," he said, but Yoo Hee Yeol denied to the idol that he never asked who she was.

Yoo Hee Yeol was initially reluctant to add another non-musician to their company. But after three weeks, he informed Yoo Jae Suk to bring Mijoo in. The former Lovelyz member was left more shocked when HaHa reportedly got interested in signing her in his agency, as well. However, HaHa reportedly called on the same day Yoo Hee Yeol decided to accept her.

Now that she has a new home, Mijoo spoke candidly about what pushed her to pursue a career alongside the two Running Man stars.

She sat down as a special DJ on SBS Power FM's Two O'Clock Escape Cultwo Show last year, where she addressed the changes in her profile information.

"They treat me very well. They (Yoo Jae Suk and Haha) treat me better because I'm the youngest member," she explained. "If you invite us to 'Cultwo Show' we'll appear. We released a song so that we will show you our first performance here."

Mijoo promised her fans to show more of her diverseness after Lovelyz's disbandment, and she would surely be able to do that with the help of Antenna.
