Yoo Ah In reportedly had an accomplice who took drugs with him, police confirmed.

More details regarding Yoo Ah In's drug use continue to emerge in the weeks since he was first summoned. New information about Yoo Ah In's alleged accomplices took the spotlight, leading the police to plan to have a second summons investigation.

Police Reveal Yoo Ah In Had an Accomplice

Chosun Ilbo cited the recent statements made by the authorities regarding Yoo Ah In's charges.

On Monday, the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency held a press conference during which an official said the police started its investigation to determine the similar crimes committed by the actor's acquaintances.

According to the officer, there was an accomplice who administered drugs like what Yoo Ah In did at a club in Itaewon. Publications added that the Hellbound actor and the alleged accomplice were often spotted in Itaewon's Lounge A, Club B, and Club C.

"We are investigating additional accomplices who took the drugs together ahead of the second summons investigation," the official said.

With the development, the police now plan to summon the actor again once the other probe into the accomplice is completed.

Yoo Ah In Apologizes Amid Drug Use Crimes

Yoo Ah In previously appeared during a summon after it was confirmed that he tested positive for four illegal drugs — marijuana, propofol, cocaine, and ketamine.

After the 12-hour investigation, the #Alive actor apologized publicly outside the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency's Drug Crime Investigation Unit. He told the reporters and the public that he is deeply reflecting on what he did.

"I am cautious about giving details because the investigation has not yet been completed. Personally, I think I was so absorbed with self-justification that I have not caused harm to anyone else with my deviant behavior. I apologize for belatedly sharing my position," Yoo Ah In said.

He has since hired a lawyer from a top law firm. His lawyer is said to have worked as a prosecutor for 11 years and joined Kim & Chang Law Firm in December 2017. The attorney, however, currently works at a different firm.
