A new featurette has been released for Fox's upcoming X-Men series The Gifted, and it gives us a closer look at the mutant characters, including Thunderbird (Blair Redford), Eclipse (Sean Teale), Polaris (Emma Dumont), and Blink (Jamie Chung). Polaris seems to be the most powerful of the bunch, and we can see her and other mutants demonstrate their powers against a group of cops.

It seems this series takes place mostly at night, and I'm not really blown away by the visual effects or the action, but I hope the series will offer more than what X-Men fans are expecting.
Here's the official synopsis:
THE GIFTED, from Marvel, tells the story of a suburban couple whose ordinary lives are rocked by the sudden discovery that their children possess mutant powers. Forced to go on the run from a hostile government, the family joins up with an underground network of mutants and must fight to survive.
The Gifted is set to premiere this Fall.
