The highly-anticipated MCU reboot of X-Men has reportedly set a filming date according to a recent production update.
Following Disney's acquisition of 20th Century Fox in 2019, fans have been looking forward to the X-Men making their official debut in the MCU in the near future.
They have also set the seeds for the mutants' inevitable MCU debut in the past few years and have used the multiverse concept to bring back the X-Men characters from the Fox iteration including in the upcoming film Deadpool & Wolverine.

X-Men MCU Reboot to Reportedly Begin Filming in Late 2025
According to Production Weekly, the MCU reboot of X-Men is set to begin filming in late 2025.
In addition, they also claimed that Shang-Chi 2 will start production in March 2025, Armor Wars is scheduled somewhere in 2025, and Vision Quest is planning a late 2024 start date.
So far, Marvel Studios has not confirmed the claims that were made in the outlet regarding the production schedule of the aforementioned MCU projects.
If the information ends up being true, it would mean the X-Men reboot will begin filming sooner than we expected since the project is not knowingly part of the MCU slate for the next few years.
There have been rumors that the mutants won't make their formal MCU introduction until the Multiverse Saga ends and fans should stick with the Fox iterations for now.
However, there were reports that Marvel Studios is already meeting with writers who will potentially pen the screenplay for the X-Men reboot although no update has been made yet since the word came.
For now, fans should patiently wait for more news and updates regarding Marvel Studios' plans for the X-Men in the MCU.
