Work Later, Drink Now will continue the drinking session of the three female, main characters.
TVING presented Work Later, Drink Now in 2021. The Korean web series, which is based on the Kakao webtoon Drinker City Women by Mikkang, tells the story of three female friends who always have drinks together after work.
It took the spotlight after its stint when it received an invitation to the 2022 Cannes International Series Festival.
After the historic feat, the K-drama series confirmed its return and that the filming officially began.

Work Later, Drink Now Season 2 Coming Soon
The K-drama season 2 unveiled new photos (via Naver) of the main cast members on July 7. The stills showed the actors reuniting ahead of the filming.
Lee Sun Bin, Han Su Hwa, Jung Eun Ji, and Choi Siwon all smiled brightly to start the filming in a positive way.
After the reunion, Work Later, Drink Now production team applauded the co-stars’ efforts and unchanging energy even when they waited for months before starting season 2.

“Since we finally started our first filming, we will do our best to carry this current [level of] passion until the end, so please look forward to it a lot,” it went on.
In the series, Lee Sun Bin plays the role of broadcast writer, Ahn So Hee. Meanwhile, Han Sun Hwa and Jeong Eun Ji landed on yoga instructor Han Ji Yeon and origami YouTuber Kang Ji Goo’s roles.
Choi Si Won, on the other hand, is an entertainment producer-director named Kang Book Goo. He works in the same department as Ahn So Hee.
Why Did They Push a New Season?
Before the filming started, a source from TVING revealed in December the reason why they wanted to create Work Later, Drink Now season 2.
As quoted by Naver, the insider revealed that the immense amount of support the first installment received allowed them to prepare for a new season as soon as possible.
Ahead of the drama’s release, the source promised the viewers that the next installment would be relatable and heartwarming as the friends and drinking buddies would share more of their stories.
Work Later, Drink Now season 2 is expected to be released in the second half of this year.
