Wonder Woman 1984: Chris Pine Explains Viral Breakfast Club Cast Photo

Fans were recently blessed with an awesome photo of the cast of Wonder Woman 1984 recreating the iconic Breakfast Club poster. Not surprisingly, Chris Pine has revealed that the picture was a result of him and his co-stars having fun.

Pine recently promoted his new film Outlaw King at the Toronto International Film Festival. The actor spoke to Entertainment Weekly and explained that the famous photo happened because of long hours and good humor.

"I didn't realize there was a big response to it," Pine admitted. "That was just everyone playing around on set one day, I think. If you spend 17 hours on set anywhere, you want to have a laugh."

The picture was initially posted by Pedro Pascal on his official Instagram account before being deleted. However, fans had already taken screenshots of the original image, which immediately went viral.

It is unclear why Pascal decided to delete the photo. Nevertheless, we are happy to have been blessed with a delightful picture that confirms how much fun it must be to be working on Wonder Woman 1984.

Pine's return in the sequel is somehow a mystery. Steve Trevor was already killed off in the first film so it is unclear how he could return. Has Steve been reincarnated to torment Gal Gadot's Diana Prince? Is it possible that Pine is playing the character's doppelganger? The truth will be revealed when Wonder Woman 1984 premieres next year.

Wonder Woman 1984 is scheduled for release on November 1, 2019.
