Wolverine Gets a Bloody New Series This November

When Wolverine was brought back to life not too long ago, many Marvel fans were already wondering how many comics the popular mutant would star in. They weren't entirely wrong in this assumption since he starred in X-Men and X-Force, while also getting a solo series that's surprisingly focused on his Krakoa adventures. It seems like Marvel Comics is ready to start milking that adamantium skeleton-laced cow as they announced a new series called Wolverine: Black, White & Blood.

Revealed by Marvel.com, Wolverine: Black, White & Blood will be an anthology series that will be completely in black and white, along with some red. Basically, it's a Wolverine anthology with Sin City colors and no one's going to complain thus far since the pages shared thus far have been gorgeous. The first issue has some pretty great creative teams like Gerry Duggan and Adam Kubert, Matthew Rosenberg and Joshua Cassara, and Declan Shalvey.

Future issues will have creators like Vita Ayala, Chris Claremont, Saladin Ahmed, Donny Cates, Ed Brisson, Kelly Thompson, Greg Land, Salvador Larroca, Kev Walker, Chris Bachalo, Leonard Kirk, and more who haven't been announced yet. Those are some fairly talented creators, some of whom have worked on Wolverine in the past so we're looking forward to what kinds of stories they will tell.

Wolverine: Black, White & Blood is an anthology series clearly inspired by other anthologies like Batman: Black and White. The series' first issue will be coming out this November so if you feel that there aren't enough comics with Wolverine, consider picking this up.
