People are understandably excited about Bucky Barnes and Sam Wilson getting their own series on the Disney streaming service. Not surprisingly, a new fan poster imagines the Winter Soldier and Falcon teaming up against the Serpent Society.
The fan art was posted on Instagram by Lord Tectonic, who decided to upgrade Bucky and Sam's costume. In addition to that, they also pitched the possibility of the new series focusing on the fight against Marvel villains with snake-like powers. Take a look at the post below.
It's an awesome idea that could introduce interesting new characters. This might even be a way to bring back Mahershala Ali as Cottonmouth from the recently canceled Luke Cage. Although we're not sure what the series will be about, Serpent Society might be a great direction for the show.
Serpent Society isn't a new idea. Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige has previously teased that the third Captain America film will be given that title before confirming the Civil War subtitle. Is it possible that Marvel has decided that the villains should get a TV series instead? We'll have to wait until the Falcon/Winter Soldier show gets another update in the future.
It was previously reported that Scarlet Witch and Loki would be getting their own shows on the streaming service as well. There have also been speculations that Hawkeye might get his own series that would focus on Clint Barton training a young protege to take over the mantle. However, the latter show is based on theory so it would be best to take this with a grain of salt.
The Winter Soldier/Falcon series has not yet been given an official air date.
