WINNER will conquer the stage again as a whole group.

Since April 2020, WINNER had not shared new music following the release of its third studio album, Remember. Fans needed to wait for two years as the members spent their time last year serving the military.

Kim Jin Woo became the first member to leave the spotlight to start his mandatory on April 2, with Lee Seung Hoon following him on April 16. Meanwhile, Song Mino and Seung Yoon completed their enlistments this year.

After a long wait, the YG Entertainment boy group shared details about their new project.

WINNER Comeback Happening Soon!

On WINNER’s official Instagram, the boy group unveiled the release poster of its new album on Monday.

It will mark its first group comeback in two years following Kim Jin Woo and Lee Seung Hoon’s military discharge. The same photo assured fans that the group is “coming soon” on July 5.

WINNER is yet to reveal further details about its new project, but it followed the group’s appearance as a whole group in Knowing Bros.

“WINNER’s Kang Seung Yoon, Kim Jin Woo, Song Mino, and Lee Seung Hoon will be carrying out the recording for ‘Knowing Bros’ today (April 21),” a JTBC representative said. It became their first appearance on the show they last joined in May 2018. At that time, they served as the show’s guests with Yoo Byung Jae.

GQ Korea also shared the news to its site, saying that the group would surely do well as its name implies.

WINNER Ready To Be Winner Again

The confirmation followed Song Mino’s announcement after releasing his third album, To INFINITY.

“Next year, I hope 2022 will be 'To INFINITY.' More than anything, I am looking forward to WINNER's full comeback in 2022, so please look forward to it,” he said at that time, as translated by AllKpop.

The new album might be the key to add more nominations and awards under its belt.

So far, it has a total of 82 nominations and has won 17 of them, including Melon Music Awards’ Top 10 Artists, MAMA’s Best New Artist, and QQ Music Awards’ Best New Force Group, and Golden Disc Awards’ Best New Artist Of The Year (Male Group).
