William Hurt’s Red Hulk Will Allegedly Debut in She-Hulk

Things are moving pretty fast for She-Hulk, and though we haven't had any actress announced for the main part, we just had one major revelation.

As per The GWW, William Hurt, who plays Thunderbolt Ross in the MCU, is said to be turning into Red Hulk come Disney+'s She-Hulk series. We don't have any official details about Ross' involvement with the show, but it seems like a good time to debut the character, especially with all the rumors going around that Marvel is planning on introducing the Thunderbolts as well.

This is just a rumor for now, but it all seems to make sense, seeing as how Hurt has been getting more and more involved since Captain America: Civil War. For now he's set to come back for the Black Widow series, and it's likely that he'll also make an appearance in The Falcon and The Winter Soldier. With him having a solid history with the Hulk, it would make sense that he would try and get his hands on another possible super soldier.

Though Ross is Banner's villain, it seems that the films are trying their best to keep the two apart. If anything, Banner has become a side character, and it's kind of thanks to Paramount still owning the rights to a solo Hulk film that's stopping the MCU from making a solo movie with Mark Ruffalo.

Hopefully Ross' Hulk will clash with the Professor Hulk that we have. It would be interesting to see how he sees Banner now, seeing that Banner now has full control of the Jade Giant.

No release date has been set for the She-Hulk series, but Black Widow comes out May 1.
