Teasing Master Takagi-san Season 3 gained its place as one of the winter 2022 season's most well-loved anime, for good reason.
At 12 episodes, the third season of Teasing Master Takagi-san is fairly short, and it will leave many fans hoping for more content. So, is Teasing Master Takagi-san Season 4 a possibility? Here's what we think:
About Teasing Master Takagi-san
For the uninitiated, Teasing Master Takagi-san is based on an ongoing manga of the same name. This cute, slice of life premise has no complex plot, instead focusing on the lives of two middle school children; Nishikata, a naive boy, and Takagi, an adventurous girl who loves teasing him.
Takagi and Nishikata are seatmates at school, and have known each other for a long time. The two often engage in an unspoken game; whoever makes the other person blush wins. Nishikata, who has always been on the losing side, hopes to one day give Takagi a taste of her own medicine and make her blush. But the more he tries, the more he realizes winning against her won't make him all that happy, as the two grow closer.
Will There Be a Season 4 of Teasing Master Takagi-san?
The manga of Teasing Master Takagi-san is currently ongoing, and there's spin-off material too, suggesting that a fourth season could be possible in the future. However, this cannot be taken for granted due to the content choices in the third season.
Overall, the anime is like the manga in that it doesn't have a full plot. Rather, it focuses of segments of the lives of Nishikata, Takagi, and their classmates. On the other hand, the anime attempted to create a more cohesive feeling, so you can feel the progress in characters' relationships, even when there's no plot as such.
Season 3, in particular, has taken the relationship between the two main characters to the next level, all but spelling out that Takagi and Nishikata will end up together. They have dreams about one another, they almost confess their feelings, and we even get a glimpse of their future daughter - confirmed by the canon, as there's a spin-off manga in which the two are in their 20s and married with a child.

If Takagi and Nishikata start a relationship at the end of Season 3, it's unlikely that their dynamic would remain unchanged. While there might still be teasing, Takaki's antics would probably not make Nishikata blush in the same way if they were actually together.
Of course, there might, at least, still be OVAs or Special Episodes, and why not an anime based on the spin-off? If there's any such update about either a fourth season or additional Teasing Master Takagi-san content, we'll update this space with more information.
