Teasing Master Takagi-san has stolen fans' hearts since day one due to its fun, light-hearted premise and wholesome character interactions. Focusing on day-to-day shenanigans in and out of school rather than a tight plot, it is the perfect show to watch if you want something cute and stress-free.
But even with such a loose plot, there's character development, and the two protagonists grow closer together each episode. So, do Takagi and Nishikata end up together?
For the uninitiated, Teasing Master Takagi-san is based on a manga of the same name, written and illustrated by Yamamoto Soichiro. The story follows schoolmates Nishikata and Takagi. The former is a rather naive boy who gets embarrassed easily. The latter is the star of the show; a sweet but very mischievous girl, Takagi enjoys teasing Nishikata, occasionally making him uncomfortable. Nishikata resolves to one day get back at Takagi and make her blush - but even in those rare cases when he wins in the teasing game, he doesn't feel as victorious as he expected.
While the premise might sound worrying to some, Teasing Master Takagi-san is surprisingly cute and wholesome, and it avoids crossing lines in ways similarly-themed works, such as Don't Toy With Me, Miss Nagatoro, have.

Do Takagi and Nishikata End Up Together?
Even in the earlier seasons, there were hints suggesting that Takagi and Nishikata would eventually end up together. Season 3 makes these clues much more explicit. Takagi and Nishikata dream about each other, and they more or less confess their feelings to each other. One episode features another girl, teasing another boy, with the former revealed to be Takagi and Nishikata's future daughter.
This is an anime about middle school children, so we expect things to remain innocent, but we definitely expect the two main characters to properly confess their feelings by the end of the third season.
Need more proof? A spin-off manga titled Skilled Teaser (Former) Takagi-san began serialization in 2017. Written and illustrated by Inaba Mifumi, the manga offers a glimpse into the future Nishikata household.
Now in their twenties, Takagi and Nishikata are married, and they have a daughter, Chii. Like her mom, Chii is a skilled teaser, who often pulls pranks on her father - but outsmarting her mother, the original teasing master is much harder!
