Good news to all Ginny and Georgia fans! The show has already wrapped up its second season and is making its way to Netflix real soon.

Will There be a Ginny and Georgia Season 2?
Yes, it has been confirmed that Netflix has renewed Ginny and Georgia for a Season 2.
The announcement was made just two months after the first season aired in February 2021. The big news was announced by the cast through a video announcement in April 2021.
Sharing the good news to fans, show creators Debra J. Fisher and Sarah Lampert announced in a statement:
“We are so appreciative of the incredible response and love you all have shown Ginny and Georgia. We’re especially grateful to Brianne and Toni, who set the highest bar every step of the way. We can’t wait to return to Wellsbury for season 2.”
Ginny and Georgia Season 2 Release Date
When it comes to its release date, Netflix has not made an official announcement on when Ginny and Georgia Season 2 will be released. But Netflix's co-CEO Ted Sarandos mentioned in an investor call that the show will make its premiere in the last quarter of 2022. If his statement is accurate, the show could get released between November and December 2022.
Early predictions show that Ginny and Georgia Seaosn 2 release date is expected for sometime in 2023. After all, Fisher shared on TikTok that dubbing will take around 14 weeks to complete and will take "us to the end of the year."
Production was supposed to start in September 2021 but it wasn't until November 29, 2021 when filming began. This went on until April 8, 2022.
According to Antonia Gentry (who plays Ginny in the series), filming wrapped up on April 23, 2022. The actress shared an Instagram post documenting the filming process.
A behind-the-scenes post was also shared on the show's official Instagram account last August 12, 2022 with a caption that read: "So close to being done I can taste it."
The first season had a total of 10 episodes. It's possible that Ginny and Georgia Season 2 will have the same number of episodes too.
Potential Ginny and Georgia Season 2 Story
At the end of the first season, viewers saw Ginny and Austin (played by Diesel La Torraca) leave town after the actions of their mom. It's possible that Zion (played by Nathan Mitchell) will follow the kids in Wellsbury.
Hopefully, Ginny and Georgia Season 2 will clear up the mess in Ginny's personal life. Will she reconcile with her friends? Is it really the end for her and Hunter (played by Mason Temple)? Or will it be a good relationship for her and Marcus (played by Felix Mallard)?
In May 2021, Gentry spoke to ET Online and teased fans of what they can expect from the second season: "It's a roller coaster ride. Even I don't know the full details, but I am on the edge of my seat. I know it's going to be a full package of just excitement and plot, and craziness."
As for Georgia (played by Brianne Howey), how involved is she in her ex-husband's death and disappearance? It's possible that Ginny and Georgia Season 2 could turn dark, especially if Georgia's actions catch up with her.
We'll have to wait for the show to be released before we make any assumptions.
Ginny and Georgia Season 2 Cast
We'll likely see the same actors reprise their role for Ginny and Georgia Season 2. The only major cast announcement was made in January 2022, when it was revealed that Aaron Ashmore will be joining the show. Ashmore will play the role of Gil Timmins, the ex-husband of Georgia and Austin's father. Timmins has been out of Georgia's life after he was sent to jail after an embezzlement charge.
