The MAPPA original delinquent and fantasy anime of the Winter 2024 season is approaching its end, leaving viewers wondering if there will be a Bucchigiri season 2. Here are our predictions.

What Happens in Bucchigiri?
Bucchigiri's story begins with Arajin Tomoshibi, a high school student who returns to Honki City after living elsewhere for years.
He transfers to Ichizu High School, where two groups of delinquents, Siguma and Minato Kai, reign supreme and struggle for control.
On Arajin's first day, he reconnects with his childhood friend Matakara Asamine and meets his beautiful classmate Mahoro.
In addition, a group of delinquents also pursued Arajin to a Honki shrine, where he accidentally unleashed a Majin named Senya.
Since then, Senya has begun to live inside Arajin in the hopes of uniting their bodies to get stronger and rise to the top of the hierarchy.
They not only fought Marito of the Siguma Squad, but they also faced Kenichiro Doman of Minato Kai and Shindo Akutarou of the NG Boys.
As the story advances, Arajin becomes entangled in the fight between the three gangs, as well as Senya's conflict with another majin named Ichiya.
These majins have a long history together, and they want to settle the score to see who is stronger.
Worse, Arajin must deal with his personal issues with Matakara, as well as his embarrassing but painful history with him.
Will There Be a Bucchigiri Season 2? Our Predictions
As of this writing, neither Studio MAPPA nor the production staff have announced Bucchigiri season 2, so fans need to keep a lookout for more news and information which we believe will be released shortly after the final episode ends.
It's difficult to determine whether Bucchigiri will get a second season because it's an original anime with no source material, such as a manga or light novel that Studio MAPPA can adapt. It will take time for them to develop another storyline unless they have already done so.
In addition, it’s not unusual for original anime like Bucchigiri to not get a second season. It happened with Darling in the Franxx, Death Parade, Kiznaiver, and Wonder Egg Priority, all of which have not received any second seasons to this day.
Still, we can't rule out the potential that Bucchigiri would announce a second season after its last episode, either through the anime's official website or X account.
