Who Is Marito in Bucchigiri?
In Bucchigiri, Marito’s full name is Marito Jin. He is the lousy yet cunning older brother of Mahoro-chan, Arajin’s cute and overly friendly classmate who invited the latter out on a date.
Marito looks like a guy who wouldn’t waste time on plebs like Arajin, but it's a different story when his younger sister is involved.
In fact, Marito detests it when someone touches his younger sister, which explains his anger when he beats down Arajin, making the latter Mahoro’s 35th victim.
Apparently, Mahoro victimizes weak men, all of whom become Marito's punching bag for his satisfaction and pleasure.
He has a younger sister complex, and he wouldn’t think twice about using his fists and legs to beat the foolish guys down.
In addition to being the older brother of Mahoro, Marito Jin is also the leader of the Siguma Squad, which is the rival of the Minato Kai squad on campus. His greatest rival is Kenichirou, who leads the opposing squad.
Not much is known about Marito so far, except that he has a huge obsession with Maji Kebabs.
He’s also the type of guy who wouldn’t have second thoughts about punishing those who wronged him, as seen in the first episode, where he beat his henchman after losing to Matakara.
The voice actor of Marito, Sasaki Nozomu, commented that Marito can be cute or angry, and his ever-changing expressions are really cool.

Is Marito Good or Evil in Bucchigiri?
So far, Marito Jin can be considered evil in Bucchigiri. He beat down Arajin Tomoshibi, who is the main character of the anime.
He also has an intimidating and mysterious presence, which is most of the time played by villains in various anime shows.
However, we are only in the first episode, so it’s hard to speculate whether he will keep his evil persona or go in a different direction.
Furthermore, Marito also leads the opposing team against the Minato Kai, to which Matakara, Arajin’s childhood friend, belongs.
It will not come as a surprise if Arajin joins Minato Kai with Matakara and brings down Marito’s Siguma Squad as the plot unfolds.
