We open in Mos Espa, where Garza's Sanctuary is in ruins, having been blown up by the Pyke Syndicate in the previous episode. Inside, Boba Fett, Fennec Shand, Din Djarin, and the Mod gang discuss plans to take on the Pykes, hoping that Free Town will come to their aid.

When the suggestion of letting the spice trade continue is put to him, Boba declares that "spice is killing our people". The Mod adds that they want to protect their home, Mos Espa, and that the best place to do it is from the ruins of Garza's and not Boba's palace.

The speeder crashes and they all fly through the air. But when all hope seems lost, Boba's pet rancor arrives, with the bounty hunter riding on his back. Between the rancor, Din's Darksaber, and Grogu's Force abilities, they're able to destroy the two battle droids.
