Son Seok Koo candidly spoke about romance and dating someone way younger than him.
The My Liberation Notes star appeared as a guest on Youtube channel All Night Talk and dishes out his thoughts about relationships.
Son Seok Koo on Dating Younger Woman
As obtained by GStarLive, the host read comments from fans and one stood out the most.
"Mom, I like an ahjussi in his 40s” the comment reads, referring to the South Korean star who is turning 40 next year.
The host thinks that the actor got flustered and went all red while laughing at the comment.
He didn't answer the question, but instead he gave his thoughts when asked if he would date someone way younger than his age.
"I think it should be 10 years younger than me, at max,” he said, adding “It means that I cannot date someone in her 20s."

Throughout his career, Son Seok Koo has been involved in some dating rumors with co-stars.
In 2018, he and Bae Doona were rumored to be dating after joining Netflix’s Sense8.
Per Soompi, their agency SBD Entertainment denied the issue and said “It is not true that they are a couple. They are just close colleagues. They appeared in ‘Sense8’ together, but they are not dating.'”
Following this, Son Seok Koo is rumored to be dating Lee Seol, who made a special appearance in Netflix’s D.P., where the actor is also one of the main characters.
According to a report, his agency clarified the issue, noting that “they are not dating but “are close acquaintances.”
At the same time, Lee Seol’s agency shared the same stance and commented “They just have a close senior-junior relationship. It is not true that they are dating.”

Son Seok Koo on Marriage, Dating and Ideal Type
In a separate report, the versatile star once spoke about the deeper level of a relationship.
As obtained by KBizzoom, Son Seok Koo shared how he thinks he is in a relationship.
“I believe that I should be honest when I’m in a relationship,” he said.
Moreover, he also talked about the difference between his character Park Woo Ri in Nothing Serious, pointing out that he is “a lot more romantic than Woo-ri”.
Interestingly, Son Seok Koo also revealed his thoughts about having a deeper kind of relationship. He said that as he gets older, he wants “a realistic relationship.”
However, he revealed that he is not “thinking about dating at this time” but mentioned that he dreams of marrying someone.
For his ideal type, he wants someone with a sense of humor, adding “Now I want to get married and have children. Realistically, I’m at the age where I can take on such responsibilities.”
It seems like Son Seok Koo will not be dating anytime soon as the actor is tied up with back-to-back projects in the coming years.
After the blockbuster movie The Roundup, he is set to headline the action crime Kdrama Casino, followed by D.P 2 reprising his role as captain Im Ji Sup.
