Will Smith and Jada Pinkett-Smith have one of the strongest marriages in Hollywood. But this is not to say that the couple didn’t face major challenges in their relationship. Just recently, the A-listers admitted to cheating on each other but with each other’s consent. The setup proved to be questionable for some people, but it certainly made the couple’s union much stronger.
Will Smith Feels Trapped In His Marriage To Jada Pinkett-Smith
Globe, in its Dec. 20 issue, claimed that Will Smith has been feeling trapped in his marriage to Jada. And he allegedly wants out. However, the actor’s wife refuses to let him off the hook.
An unnamed source claimed that Will made the mistake of telling his wife all his secrets and she can now use them all against him.
“He’s terrified she’ll bury him the moment he walks. It’s common knowledge she knows all the secrets about him and he’s an extremely shy, private man who would be loath for anything to come out about him having to do with scandals, partying, and feuds,” the unnamed source claimed.
Jada Pinkett-Smith Knows All Of Will Smith’s Secrets
The unnamed source added that at the start of the couple’s relationship, Will was very smitten with his wife so he told him everything that she could possibly know about him.
“They would have these long, drawn-out conversations that would last for hours, and he opened up to her like he’s never done with anyone before. And she’s stored everything away, every little dirty thing in his past,” the unnamed source said.
Will is, allegedly, keeping secrets about his failed first marriage to Sheree Zampino, and Jada is threatening to use this information against the actor. If these things come out, it could allegedly destroy the actor’s career.
Jada Pinkett-Smith Doesn’t Want A Divorce
But even if the Pursuit of Happyness actor is worth $350 million, he couldn’t file for a divorce against Jada because she’s keeping him on a tight leash.
“Jada keeps a firm grip on all the accounts and he knows she’d take him to the cleaners if he tried to divorce her. Now, he’s feeling trapped and too scared to divorce her,” the unnamed source concluded.

Will Smith, Jada Pinkett-Smith Separation, Open Marriage Revealed
In September, the couple revealed that there was a time when they decided to separate indefinitely.
“We decided that we were going to separate for a period of time, and you go figure out how to make yourself happy, and I'll figure out how to make myself happy,” the Gotham star said on Red Table Talk.
When the actor appeared on his wife’s Facebook show, he opened up about what it likes for the public to weigh in on things that happen in the couple’s lives especially after they revealed that they are in an open marriage.
“The public has a narrative that is impenetrable. Once the public decides something, it’s difficult to impossible to dislodge the pictures and ideas and perceptions,” he said.
But despite the criticisms that they received, the actor and his wife said that they are standing by their decision to have an open relationship.
“The pursuit of truth is the only way to be happy in this lifetime… We sort of came to the agreement that authenticity was the release from the shackles of fame and public scrutiny,” he said.
Will’s statement shows that the actor and his wife support each other no matter what. And there’s no reason for them to divorce if they are in an open marriage with the freedom to do whatever will make them happy.
