Crash Landing On You Season 1 Recap
This modern-day Romeo and Juliet love story started when Yoon Se-ri went on a personal paragliding test for her latest line of extreme sportswear.
After her staff confidently confirmed that the weather is clear and she can peacefully do her paragliding, a sudden tornado caught her and blew her over the Korean Demilitarized Zone and into North Korea.
While Seri was stuck unconscious on a tree branch, she was coincidentally found by Captain Ri Jeong-hyeok.
Later, the captain decides to secretly take Seri to his house. Along with the members of his team, they start to make a plan on how to send her back to South Korea without anyone finding out about Seri.
However, people in the neighborhood discovered Seri's existence which led Jeonghyeok to lie to everyone that she is his fiancé.
Seri amazingly found a place in the neighborhood's circle of housewives. She even managed to mingle along with them and share fun moments.
Captain Ri Jeonghyeok And Seri Try To Hide Their Romantic Emotions For Each Other
In between several trials of secretly sending Seri back to South Korea, she gradually falls in love with Jeonghyeok despite their many differences.
In the end, Seri successfully returned home yet trouble followed her to South Korea.
When Jeonghyeok found out that Seri's life is threatened, he went on his way to South Korea to save her. Due to this, Jeonghyeok's status was discovered, having the two lovers separated by their respective governments.

The final episode of Crash Landing On You showed Seri and Jeonghyeok dramatically reuniting with each other in Switzerland.
As if the world had already tied them with each other, Switzerland was the place where their fateful encounter started and hopefully will be the place that will bring them back to each other's arms.
As South Korea and North Korea suffer from immense civil tension, the ending basically summarized that their love can blossom when they are together in other countries other than their homes.
Will there be Crash Landing On You Season 2?
Crash Landing On You Season 2 has not yet been officially confirmed by tvN nor Netflix.
However, as it is notable that the first season ended with a satisfying success, the drama returning for season 2 may be happening real soon.
The final episode of Crash Landing On You Season 1, on the other hand, is like a nice icing on a luscious chocolate cake. It was already well-written and had probably given its viewers the perfect ending they deserve.
So if in any case, the Korean drama will return for season 2, there would be nothing left to make a storyline with aside from the growing love between Ri Jeong-hyeok and Yoon Se-ri.
