Avengers: Infinity War shocked fans all around the world earlier this year when the release date was moved from May to April, which caused fans to not just celebrate early but to start ordering tickets right away. Since that movie was a success, Marvel knows that fans are going to buy the hell out of the upcoming Avengers 4 tickets no matter what, especially after that cliffhanger.

But will they do the same thing they did this year and move the release date to April? Fans have been speculating about this since the Infinity War change. Adding to the speculation is IMAX listing some of the film's international screenings in April, though that's just the general rule of thumb when it comes to Marvel movies; it comes out in other countries before the states.

While Marvel is seemingly set on a May 3, 2019, release, fans are preparing themselves for anything at this point. No one expected a change in release dates for Infinity War until it was made earlier this year, which was bad news for a lot of the movies coming out that month. It was a risky move by Marvel but it paid off in dividends.

Avengers 4 is going to be the sequel to this year's Infinity War and many fans are expecting it to be one hell of a tearjerker. Some major deaths are expected and time travel will probably play a huge role in bringing back some of the previous characters. How else are we going to get July's Spider-Man: Far From Home?

Avengers 4 is slated for a May 3, 2019 release. For now anyway.
