The Lord of the Rings trilogy is among the best films in history. Those who have watched the movies have nothing but praises after watching them.

For those who haven't watched The Lord of the Rings movies, you should check them out because they are exceptional. And for those who don't understand why many love them, here are three reasons why the trilogy continues to touch the hearts of every person who watches them.

The Lord of the Rings trilogy has the best musical score

A movie is as good as its musical score. The quality score makes a huge difference in the emotions and impact of a scene. The Lord of the Rings trilogy has successfully achieved that.

Several scenes come with the perfect music that makes them more poignant and unforgettable. You will probably remember Frodo and Sam's journey through the shire, Gandalf's confrontation with the Balrog in Moria and how Aragon storm the Black Gate for Frodo.

Canadian composer Howard Shore worked on the Middle Earth trilogy and it won him three Oscars. He is also in talks to compose the music for the TV series.

The Lord of the Rings gave Shore four Grammy, three Oscars and two Golden Globes and more awards.

"The world that I write in is very 19th-century and very green. I live in a forest so the connection to nature is very important to me," Shore said about writing for Tolkien's fantasy world. "And I think that was also the connection to Tolkien's work. I know how important that was to Tolkien and his writing: everything that was green and good."

The Lord of the Rings trilogy Has the Best Cinematography

Aside from having the best music, many praised the trilogy's cinematic. It has the epic vision and source material.

Everything was well thought from the production efforts, incredible runtime and perfect continuity.

LOTR dominated the fantasy genre. It even racked up 30 Academy Award nominations. Peter Jackson directed the movie and hi steam walked away with 17 Oscars.

All of the Lord of the Rings movies won awards. TheFellowship of the Ring won four awards in the 74th Academy Awards. The Two Towers won two awards in the 75th Academy Awards. The Return of the King swept all 11 of its nominations in the 76th Academy Awards.

The Lord of the Rings Deliver Strong Moral Messages

Among the things that make The Lord of the Rings so popular and lovable are the moral messages presented in the movies. Most fantasy films fall between two moral extremes, but the trilogy manages to strike the right chord.

J.R.R. Tolkien wrote the book with a sense of clear morals — the good guys are on the right side and the bad guys are on the wrong side the whole time. There was no confusion.

It also vividly shows the individual struggles of each character. Overall, The Lord of the Rings presented the perfect blend of relatable struggles and a clear picture of "good versus evil."

The Lord of the Rings is also considered the best book ever. Those who have read it fell in love with it because it was well-written and worth reading. The characters are also lovable and relatable.

So, if you haven't watched the film or read the book, you should. There are a lot of reasons the trilogy won multiple awards!
