Kengan Ashura is a martial arts and action anime that is not for the fainthearted. It is incredibly violent, as the characters compete in a martial arts tournament that will leave them either broken, paralyzed, or dead. So, who wins the tournament in Kengan Ashura?

Kengan Annihilation Tournament: A Fighter’s Grave
The Kengan Annihilation Tournament is the life-or-death martial arts tournament organized by Metsudo Katahara, the former chairman of the Kengan Association, who is also the director of Dainippon Bank.
Like any ordinary Kengan match, the fighters represent the member companies of the Kengan Association, except they are competing against each other to have the right to elect the next chairman of the association.
Any member of the association is free to join, but they need to pay an entrance fee of five billion yen.
They are also allowed to submit a single fighter, but companies that have subsidiaries, which count as different businesses, are allowed to have separate entries.
During the preliminaries, 151 corporations entered the tournament, but only 32 fighters moved on to the main tournament held on Ganryu Island. These fighters are divided into four blocks (A-D) to narrow them all down.
Thus, the Kengan Annihilation Tournament begins! From aikido and jeet kune do to pro-wrestling, the participating fighters in the tournament come from different disciplines of martial arts and combat techniques.
Tokita Ohma is a dark horse in the tournament, but all eyes are on him since he’s the so-called Tiger Vessel.
He uses the Niko Style along with a life-threatening technique called Life Advance, which helps him win one fight after another.
Does Tokita Ohma Win?
Unfortunately, Tokita Ohma did not win the tournament in Kengan Ashura. He reached the finals but was not able to take the title home despite defeating some of the strongest and most capable fighters in the tournament.
Tokita Ohma is the main protagonist of Kengan Ashura, so it’s pretty much expected that he will win the tournament. But due to his life-threatening condition and the combat prowess of his opponent, Tokita Ohma had it rough.
He was the representative of Yamashita Corporation, a subsidiary company of the Nogi Group of Companies.
He was supposed to be the representative of the Nogi Group itself, but he was pulled out by the CEO, Hideki Nogi, and replaced with Hatsumi Sen, following his intense Kengan match with Gandai’s Jun Sekibayashi.
So, Who Wins the Kengan Annihilation Tournament?
The winner of the Kengan Annihilation Tournament is the renowned assassin of the criminal underworld, Kuroki Gensai of Motorhead Motors. He defeated Tokita Ohma in the finals with his Kaiwan style.
The Kaiwan Style is a combination of Okinawan Karate, Chinese Wushu, and traditional Ryukyuan martial arts. It is an assassination style that relies on the hand conditioning of its users.
Kuroki Gensai, in particular, uses his signature move, Devil Lance, whenever he sees the perfect opening to do it.
Gensai knew everything about Ohma’s Niko Style, which made it easier for him to weather every move and attack Ohma threw at him.
By the end of the Kengan Annihilation Tournament, the CEO of Motorhead Motors, Takakaze Kirimi, voted Hideki Nogi of the Nogi Group of Companies as the newest chairman of the Kengan Association, replacing Metsudo Katahara of Dainippon Bank.
Sadly, the Fang of Metsudo, Kannoh Agita, lost in the semi-finals against Kuroki Gensai as well.
