A decade after Dodi divorced Grerard, he met and became engaged again to model Kelly Fisher.

Kelly Fisher is an American model who claims she met Dodi in the summer of 1996 and was allegedly engaged in August the following year. She maintains that Dodi gave her a sapphire and diamond ring worth $233,000. However, representatives from the Al-Fayed family deny that Dodi proposed to Fisher.

Fisher claims that she was engaged to Dodi when he started a relationship with Princess Diana, saying she only learned about Dodi’s new romance through photos her friends showed her.

When Dodi ended the relationship, Fisher sued Dodi for leaving her. She held a press conference with their lawyer, Gloria Allred, on August 15, 1997, appearing with her engagement ring for full effect.
