Ron Kamonohashi: The Illegal Detective

Ron Kamonohashi was once the top student at Blue, the most prestigious detective training academy in the country.

He was beloved by other students, including some of his instructors, due to his impressive reasoning and deduction skills.

No one in the academy was able to top Ron, and his genius detective skills are more impressive than those of actual police detectives who are solving cases one after the other.

He is simply more brilliant than everyone, even at such a young age.

He was even called the deranged detective due to his peculiar personality. When he hears about a case, he can no longer suppress the urge to solve it. Ron’s reason for living is solving mysteries, after all.

Unlike other detectives, Ron treats corpses with respect and friendliness. He believes that the corpses will help him solve the case after they open their hearts to him.

He talks with them during a case, as if they would answer him back. However, all good things come to an end, and sadly, it includes Ron Kamonohashi’s blossoming detective career.

One unfortunate day, Ron participated in a practical exercise as recommended by the Blue Council.

He was the top student, so it was only right for him to go collaborate with the police in solving the country’s worst case ever.

Ron was successful in finding the hideout of the suspects, but later he was found with a deadly weapon in his hand, while the suspects lay dead in the ground.

He was also injured pretty badly all over his body, but for some reason, a scar that resembles the number 96 was on his neck.

This incident became known as the Bloody Field Trip. The events of this incident resulted in Ron’s misfortune. Not only was he charged with temporary insanity, but his detective license was also revoked.

Because of this, Ron’s life has hit rock bottom. He was expelled from Blue. and banned from doing detective work.

The Moriarty Crime Family is the mastermind behind the Bloody Field Trip. Ron was born into the same family but was also born into the Holmes Detective Family, making him a forbidden child.

At some point in the series, it was also revealed that the Moriarty Crime Family gave Ron his kill-on-sight ability.

This ability is Ron’s major flaw, which allows him to pressure the culprits to take their own lives in any way he wants.

The Moriarty Crime Family also gave Ron's neck a scar. It is unknown what the numbers represent, but it is said that it has something to do with Ron’s lineage.

Will Ron Get His License Back?

As of writing, Ron Kamonohashi has yet to retrieve his detective license in Forbidden Deductions.

By the end of the series, we are expecting that he will be able to get it back so that he can practice his profession without using Totomaru as his puppet.

For now, Ron is banned from detective work, and if ever Blue catches him in the act of performing detective activities, he will be killed on the spot.

Since news of Ron Kamonohashi’s comeback spread, various instructors from Blue have been sent to investigate his activities. But all of them failed, including Spitz Feir (Fire), who eventually became Ron’s accomplice.
