The multiverse is in trouble as Ultron with all the six Infinity Stones that after dissipating all life on Earth, he started to lay waste to other planets and galaxies. All these are for his sole purpose: to bring peace. While it makes sense how killing everyone could result in it but who would be there in the end to enjoy it, right? Good thing Uatu found the last hope of the universe, who is this hero in What If..? Episode 8?

In What If..?Episode 8, What If.. Ultron Won?, the last hope of the universe, or in this case, the multiverse, depends on where you would stand because there's more than one if you would think about it.
If you look into the perspective of Uatu, it would definitely be Black Widow who now wields the shield of Red Guardian as she remains to be the sole survivor of the universe that Ultron laid waste. Well, Zola is there but does he count? He's a code so that's questionable but it is certain that Natasha is the last hope of the universe for Uatu.
Together with Clint, who later died in a sacrifice like a scene in Endgame reversed, Natasha went into the archives of the KGB to look for what they could use to combat Ultron. There they found Zola whose codes could infiltrate Ultron from the inside but when they failed to tether to the evil AI, they were left with no choice but to flee, resulting in Clint's death in order to save Nat and bring into existence their plan of destroying Ultron.

Looking at a broader view, Uatu could also be considered to be the last hope of the universe, in his case, the whole multiverse as his intervention could finally be a make-it-or-break-it in dealing with Ultron.
