An anonymous social media user started the talks about Jimin and Song Da Eung’s alleged romance. In a now-deleted post on the online forum Pann Nate, the netizen shared a set of photos called “Proof of Bangtan Jimin Dating Song Da Eun,” showing them wearing the same jewellery and attending events.
Who is Song Da Eun?
Song Da Eun is a South Korean actress famous for her roles in various K-dramas. Born on June 14, 1991, she’s now 31—five years older than Jimin.
She started her acting career in 2014 and debuted in the movie The Handmaiden in 2016. She rose to prominence when she joined the dating reality show Heart Signal 2 in 2018.
The show’s contenders all experience a surge of popularity after joining the series. In fact, Song Da Eun started to receive tons of casting offers in different productions after her appearance on the reality series, Koreaboo noted.
She next appeared in another reality show, Dear My Room, in 2019. Some of the K-dramas she did are Can’t Lose, Hold My Hand, Wednesday 3:30 PM, Be Melodramatic, Once Again and More Than Friends.
Movie-wise, she starred in Drama Special Season 5: Illegal Parking and Mothers.
Song Da Eun’s Past Relationship
Before Song Da Eun and BTS’s Jimin’s dating rumors emerged, the former dated the TV personality Jung Jae Ho.
According to Soompi, the two first met on Heart Signal 2 and started hitting it off when the show began. They eventually became a couple when the series ended and continued to be in a relationship for five months.

After that, news emerged that Song Da Eun and Jung Jae Ho had broken up in November 2018. Two months prior to their split, rumors about their breakup began after they unfollowed each other on social media due to an alleged fight.

As listed by Koreaboo, the poster alleged the two wore the same earrings on the same day, June 29. They also made Instagram stories on July 8.
They attended the same soccer game on June 14, which happened to be Song Da Eun’s birthday. The actress also watched the movie Allied, which Jimin recommended as a good watch.
Jimin once said he wanted to plant peonies and rubber trees during his free time. These plants were said to be Song Da Eun’s favorites.

The two also wanted to name their pets “Gangyangee,” which was Jimin’s nickname. Fans saw Song Da Eun highlight the date October 13 when she had a Q&A session on Instagram. The said date is Jimin’s birthday.
In addition, Song Da Eun opened a coffee shop with the number five in its name. The said number is believed to be Jimin’s number among the BTS members and when she posted the photo of the place, she used a purple heart in the caption.
