Prince Harry’s paternity has long been questioned until he finally breaks his silence about it in his memoir, Spare. Rumors have it that his father is not King Charles but Princess Diana’s former riding instructor, James Hewitt, with whom she reportedly had an affair.

Prince Harry accused the media of continuously making stories about him for popularity. So, who’s his biological dad?

Media Trying to Prove King Charles is not Prince Harry’s Father

In his book, the Duke of Sussex claimed the tabloids had always been “delighted” to prove His Majesty wasn’t his real dad.

“Tabloid readers were delighted by the idea that the younger child of Prince Charles wasn’t the child of Prince Charles,” he wrote, via Geo TV. “They couldn’t get enough of this ‘joke,’ for some reason.”

The media had spread the claims that he was the lovechild of his mom to his boyfriend, Hewitt.

In an interview with Sunday Mirror in 2002, he said, “There really is no possibility whatsoever that I am Harry’s father.”

“I can absolutely assure you that I am not. Admittedly, the red hair is similar to mine, and people say we look alike,” he added. “I have never encouraged these comparisons, and although I was with Diana for a long time, I must state once and for all that I’m not Harry’s father. When I met Diana, he was already a toddler.”
