Over a thousand episodes of One Piece have passed, and we’re still here waiting for Luffy to find the One Piece treasure and become the Pirate King after Gol D. Roger. He has been to so many islands and seen so many faces, but among them, who does Luffy end up with in One Piece?
One Piece continues to make waves online as the Wano arc finishes in the anime and the Egghead Island arc is about to end in the manga.

Explaining Luffy’s Peculiar Bond With the Girls in One Piece
Monkey D. Luffy embodies every shonen character stereotype. He is incredibly strong, he has a monstrous appetite, he has big dreams, his potential is limitless, and he has a very simple mind, especially when it comes to girls.
He is denser than most shonen anime protagonists, including Son Goku, who we recall misunderstood Chi-Chi’s marriage proposal for an offer of food in the Dragon Ball series.
Let’s face it, One Piece's hero is the type of guy who would rather have a relationship with food than with women.
Eiichiro Oda also has a say in Luffy’s love life. He doesn’t want to involve romance between Luffy and the girls in his pirate crew, so any hopes for Luffy to have a romantic ending with either Nami or Robin are not likely to happen.
Still, fans can ship them, but sadly, it will not be canon unless Eiichiro Oda has a change of heart.
The same can be said of the One Piece Live-Action, where they also avoided the romance between the members.
After all, One Piece pushes the spirit of friendship and camaraderie more than romantic possibilities.
There may be a lot of beautiful girls in One Piece, but Luffy can ignore them all day, as long as there’s delicious food on the table, a strong opponent worthy of his time, and an adventure that lies in front of him.
So, Who Does Luffy End Up With in One Piece? Fan theories
So far, Luffy has yet to end up with anyone in One Piece. He is still single and ready to mingle, but he’s the least likely character in the series to have a love life by the end of the manga.
To be honest, I can see Zoro and Sanji marrying another character at the end of One Piece, but not Luffy.
I will be happy and satisfied seeing him on Laugh Tale or any other island in the series, where he will hopefully decide to retire for good.
Luffy being the Pirate King and passing the torch to the next generation would be a fitting ending, at least for me.
But among the female characters in the series, Nami is the closest to Luffy.
So if we're talking romance, Luffy is most likely to end up with Nami, and we all know it. Sorry, Sanji and Nami fans, but Luffy’s dynamic with Nami is the best.
A lot of fans are also shipping Luffy with Boa Hancock, seeing how their chemistry is through the roof.
The same can be said for those who want Luffy to end up with Robin. They may have contrasting personalities, but they still complement each other.
