Unfortunately, Frankie, Winston’s brother doesn’t last very long in the series. Frankie dies in The Continental’s premiere, when he was trying to protect Winston and Yen.

Frankie, Yen, and Winston get chased by Cormac’s men, and the three board a helicopter to escape. However, a pair of twin assassins hired by Cormac arrive and don’t stop shooting.

Frankie realizes that Yen and Winston are only in danger because of him. He says that they only want him and the coin press. Frankie jumps off the helicopter, taking the coin press box with him. Unfortunately, one of the twins shoots him in the head.

Later on, it is revealed that what’s inside the box isn’t actually the coin press. When Cormac opens the box, he sees a golden monkey giving him the finger.

Frankie’s death in The Continental explains why we don’t see him in the John Wick films. Frankie is not even mentioned in the John Wick films by Winston.

However, Frankie’s importance in the series is clear. In fact, despite Frankie’s death in The Continental’s premiere, his presence is still felt throughout. Most of the events in The Continental series are tied to Frankie too, like Winston vowing revenge against Cormac.

Cormac dies in The Continental’s finale. Winston swore revenge on Cormac, but it’s not him who ends up killing the former manager of the New York Continental.

KD ends up killing Cormac. In the finale, it is revealed that when Winston and Frankie burned down a building when they were kids, the family that was in the building was KD’s.

Cormac reveals to Winston that he knew there was a family inside. He just wanted Winston and Frankie to do something they could never come back from and “put the taste of death” in their mouths. And according to him, that’s how he builds soldiers.

KD arrives and shoots Cormac in the head. She then decides to spare Winston’s life and tells him, “Be seeing you.”

The Adjudicator dies in The Continental finale. After Winston takes control over The Continental, Katie McGrath’s Adjudicator arrives and informs him that the premises are under a temporary suspension of the usual functions until the High Table deems otherwise.

She also tells him that the hotel wasn’t his to take and warns him that he has no idea who he’s dealing with. She adds that the High Table won’t speak to him.

Winston responds, “They will now” and shoots the Adjudicator in the head. He did so to send the High Table a message. We also see what’s beneath the Adjudicator’s mask, and it isn’t pretty. It also explains Cormac’s reaction when the Adjudicator took off her mask in the second episode.

Hansel & Gretel

The assassin twins die in The Continental finale. Hansel is killed by Lou and Miles, while Gretel is killed by Yen, Frankie’s wife.

Gretel was the one who shot Frankie in the first episode, which is why Yen wanted to kill her specifically. A fight takes place between Yen and Gretel which ends in the female assassin’s demise.

Lemmy

Unfortunately, Hansel sends a grenade back to Lemmy, resulting in the latter’s death. Lemmy dies in Winston’s arms, with Winston telling him, “Godspeed, Lemmy.”
