Frankie also went back to work for Cormac and became one of his most trusted men. Cormac even told Winston that Frankie had become an asset to him. He said, "Your brother became quite an asset to me. The war made him efficient, cold, earned him a promotion."

However, Frankie met his wife Yen, and wanted a way out. To do so, he stole an ancient coin press. But things did not go according to plan, so he and his wife went into hiding.

However, Cormac asks Winston to look for his brother, and if he won’t, he’ll “bring the weight of this whole institution [the Continental]” down on them both. This eventually leads to a reunion between the two brothers.
