  • Quick Summary: This guide covers where to stream all six Scary Movie films, including the latest installment, which is now available to stream on Paramount+.

Scary Movie 6 has arrived on streaming! And just as expected, the new installment has been a major success, crossing $100 million in its opening weekend and marking the biggest global start in the franchise’s history.

One of the most famous horror-comedy series in modern film history, the franchise is known for parodying popular horror films, and the sixth movie is no exception, spoofing titles such as Sinners, Longlegs, and more.

With this being the perfect time to revisit the series, here’s where to watch all the Scary Movie films online, including Scary Movie 6, as well as recommended VPN services you can use if they’re not available in your region.

Where to Watch All the Scary Movies Online

Considering that the Scary Movies are all connected, it would be best for fans to start from the 2000 debut up to the sixth (even if the fifth didn’t include the Wayans, Anna Faris, and Regina Hall).

Scary Movie (2000)

As the kickstarter of the Scary Movie franchise, the first Scary Movie boldly fires barbs at the classic scenes from Scream, The Sixth Sense, The Matrix, I Know What You Did Last Summer, and The Blair Witch Project

But given that parody movies know no bounds, the 2000 film also mocked a myriad of teen movie clichés.

Scary Movie 2 (2001)

The original Scary Movie cast makes their comeback in the sequel, and this time, they poked fun at supernatural horror films like The Haunting, The Exorcist, and The Amityville Horror

Apart from the supernaturals, Scary Movie 2 also referenced Hannibal, Hollow Man, Charlie’s Angels, Mission: Impossible 2, and the 2001 Nike “Freestyle” commercial.

Streaming Platforms:

Scary Movie 3 (2003)

Scary Movie 3 spotlights Cindy Campbell’s return as she investigates a cursed videotape (in reference to The Ring) and mysterious crop circles (parodying Signs) to prevent a global alien invasion. Spoofs in the threequel also include 8 Mile, Texas Chainsaw Massacre, and The Matrix Reloaded.

Streaming Platforms:

Scary Movie 4 (2006)

As Scary Movie 4 parodies War of the Worlds, The Grudge, The Village, and Saw, Cindy falls for her neighbor, Tom Ryan, as they navigate haunted houses and solve riddles—all for the sake of saving the world from a massive alien “TriPod” invasion.

Streaming Platform:

Scary Movie 5 (2013)

Scary Movie 5 is the only film in the franchise that didn’t feature the original cast and creators.

Instead, this horror-comedy focuses on a couple, Dan and Jody, who adopt their lost nieces and nephews and move into a new home that turns out to be haunted by a malevolent, demonic force.

The fifth installment parodies Paranormal Activity, Mama, and Evil Dead, among others.

Scary Movie 6 (2026)

Scary Movie 6, or as it’s officially known, Scary Movie, sees the return of the original cast, including Anna Faris, Regina Hall, Marlon Wayans, and Shawn Wayans. In the film, Cindy (Faris), Brenda (Hall), Shorty (Marlon Wayans), and Ray (Shawn Wayans) are pulled back together when a new masked killer targets them.

Of course, the film would not be complete without its iconic style of parodying modern horror movies and the wider horror genre, with no movie IP safe from its jokes.

Unfortunately, Scary Movie 6 is not currently available to stream in the UK. However, you can still watch the movie digitally by renting or purchasing it from the following platforms:

The Wayans brothers have yet to officially announce Scary Movie 7, but Marlon Wayans has already teased some details about it.

After spoofing some of the latest hit modern horror films in Scary Movie 6, Marlon is eyeing the seventh installment to parody the latest blockbusters such as Backrooms and Obsession. He told Variety:

  • “Wait for Scary Movie 7 and we will come back, and we're going to get us some Backrooms and we're going to get us some Obsession.
  • “Thank you guys, keep making the movies.”

Despite their relatively low budgets, these films have performed strongly at the box office, with Backrooms earning over $395 million worldwide and Obsession grossing more than $488 million.

With the success of Scary Movie 6, a seventh movie would hardly be a surprise, especially if the franchise continues its tradition of turning the biggest horror blockbusters and pop-culture phenomena into parody.
