My Life as Inukai-san’s Dog kicks off the year for ecchi anime fans following the success of World's End Harem and Harem in the Labyrinth of Another World. The censored version of the anime is available on HIDIVE, but where can fans watch My Life as Inukai-san's Dog's uncensored version?
The ecchi anime follows a high school student turned dog as he becomes the pet dog of his longtime crush and classmate.
He is now known as Pochita, and he spends his time with the lovely and popular Karen Inukai in the most bizarre and awkward ways.
Originally, the story was based on Gosei Furukawa's erotic and romantic comedy manga of the same name, which has seven volumes as of writing.
What Is My Life as Inukai-san’s Dog Wonderful Version?
My Life as Inukai-san’s Dog’s Wonderful Version is the uncensored version of the ecchi anime. This is because there are three versions of the show:
- Broadcast Version - Censored version
- Wonderful Version - No censoring
- Completely Wonderful Version - A completely deregulated version that is more uncensored than the Wonderful Version
Unfortunately, online streaming distributors such as HIDIVE and BiliBili Global are streaming the censored version of My Life as Inukai-san's Dog rather than the Wonderful and Completely Wonderful Version.
This is completely normal when it comes to 18+ anime series.
What Is the Difference Between the Censored and Uncensored Versions of My life as Inukai-san’s Dog?
Simply put, the uncensored My Life as Inukai-san’s Dog is the deregulated version of the ecchi anime that follows the same scenes and stories as the censored episodes.
Most notably, the Broadcast Version of the ecchi anime has comical censoring in nudity and sexually related scenes, but there is none in the Wonderful and Completely Wonderful Version!
Furthermore, the Completely Wonderful Version is more uncensored than the Wonderful Version in terms of detail and animation.
By the end of the day, it is up to ecchi anime fans to choose their poison!
Where to Watch My Life as Inukai-san’s Dog Uncensored Wonderful Version
At the moment, the uncensored My Life as Inukai-san’s Dog Wonderful Version is only available to watch on AT-X in Japan. HIDIVE and BiliBili Global are also not streaming the uncensored version of the anime online.
The good news is that everyone can purchase the Blu-ray volumes of My Life as Inukai-san’s Dog which include both the Broadcast and the Completely Wonderful Version of the ecchi anime.
As announced on the official website, the first Blu-ray volume will ship on March 29, 2023, and will include the first six episodes of My Life as Inukai-san’s Dog in addition to an OVA episode entitled Dog Pool and bonus footage.
The second Blu-ray volume of My Life as Inukai-san’s Dog will ship on April 26, 2023, and will include the final six episodes of the ecchi anime.
It will also contain an OVA episode titled School Festival Date, along with bonus footage and the anime’s soundtrack.
Both blu-ray volumes will include a special booklet with original illustrations by Gosei Furukawa.
On the other hand, the Completely Wonderful Version of My Life as Inukai-san’s Dog is also available on Anime Festa’s official website in Japan.
