Where to Watch Ao Ashi: Netflix, Crunchyroll, Funimation or Hulu

Fans of sports anime are already getting excited about the latest soccer anime, Ao Ashi! The journey of Ashito Aoi and coach Tatsuya Fukuda as they seek to create the world’s best team looks set to be full of everything we know and love about sports anime. So, where can you watch Ao Ashi if you want to catch up with this series?

Where to Watch Ao Ashi

You can watch Ao Ashi on Crunchyroll in most regions outside of Asia.

In Japan, the series airs on NHK Educational (or NHK E) on Saturday evenings. Crunchyroll then simulcasts the series to most regions outside of Asia.

It has not been confirmed what platform will be airing the series in other Asian regions.

Is Ao Ashi on Netflix?

Ao Ashi is not currently available on Netflix.

Occasionally, Netflix will pick up successful anime after they have aired and add them to their library. However, this usually occurs a long time after the series has aired. Therefore, even if Ao Ashi was a huge success, we wouldn’t expect to see it on Netflix anytime soon.

Is Ao Ashi on Crunchyroll?

Yes, Ao Ashi is currently streaming on Crunchyroll as part of their Spring 2022 anime simulcasts.

New episodes are usually available on Crunchyroll around one hour after their air in Japan. Due to timezone differences, most viewers in western regions will be able to watch the series on Saturday mornings or afternoons.

Note that, unlike previous seasons, new shows are not available for free on Crunchyroll through ad-supported streaming. To watch Ao Ashi, and other Spring 2022 anime, you will need to sign up for a paid subscription.

Is Ao Ashi on Funimation?

Ao Ashi is not currently available on Funimation, and we wouldn’t expect the series to appear anytime soon.

Following the merger with Crunchyroll, it was announced that Funimation wouldn’t be receiving new Spring 2022 anime. While some new series have since been announced, there are only very few, and Ao Ashi is not part of that list.

Is Ao Ashi on Hulu?

Ao Ashi is not currently available on Hulu. It’s unlikely the series will appear on this platform, at least until it has finished airing. If Ao Ashi does arrive on Hulu, we will update this page.
