There are more exciting adventures waiting for Laios’ party in the Delicious in Dungeon manga after the anime. It’s not yet over for Laios and his friends as they embark on their most dangerous adventure to save Falin.
While Delicious in Dungeon season 2 has been announced, fans who can’t wait to see the anime’s continuation can turn to the manga to follow Laios’ party in their next steps to get Falin back.
How Much of Delicious in Dungeon Did the Anime Cover?
Delicious in Dungeon had a total of 24 episodes in the first season. It covered seven story arcs in the manga series, from the Introduction arc, the Second Floor arc, to the Sixth Floor arc, including the Red Dragon arc.
A lot happened in the first season, from Senshi joining Laios, Marcille, and Chilchuck to Marcille reviving Falin with dark arts. Laios’ party had so many ups and downs within the confines of the dungeon.
In addition, Senshi and the others came up with some of the most delicious monster cuisine, from the Griffin Soup, Huge Scorpion, and Walking Mushroom Hotpot to the Boiled Mimic!
Where to Start Reading the Delicious in Dungeon Manga after the Anime
The first season of Delicious in Dungeon covered 52 chapters of the manga, chronicling the adventures of Laios and his friends from the first floor to the sixth floor of the cursed dungeon.
The first episode started in the manga’s first chapter, Hot Pot, and ended in chapter 52 titled Bacon and Eggs.
This means that after the Delicious in Dungeon anime, viewers can start reading from chapter 53, On Floor One, to continue the journey of their favorite Delicious in Dungeon characters.
Of course, there’s nothing wrong with reading the manga from the very beginning, as it offers more details and even jokes that never made it to the anime due to limited time.
With this, the first season of the Delicious in Dungeon anime covered half of the entire manga, as there are only 97 chapters in the series unless Ryoko Kui decides to make a continuation in the future.
