However, the Akabane family didn’t know that they were an actual family in real life.
They all belong to the Arima Family, a hopeless household that can never get along with each other, especially after the death of its youngest member, Aya.
Throughout the anime, the members of the Arima family struggle to find common ground until they are faced with an infectious computer virus that breaks the wall between reality and the virtual world.

The Good Night World End manga is the prequel to the Good Night World series. It tells the story of Liz, Rei, and Yoshino, three kids who are into the same game as the Akabane family.
The manga explores the rise of the Granada Guild, adults making real money from Planet, and the first sightings of the feathers of the Black Bird, among others.
The majority of the players are aiming to collect a hundred black bird feathers in the hopes that something major will appear to them, perhaps the Black Bird itself.
