The Glory follows Moon Dong Eun (played by Song Hye Kyo) as she swears revenge on her high school bullies that forced her to drop out of school, give up all her dreams of becoming an architect, and left her with scars all over her body. Not to mention, the sound of raw meat being seared on a hot pan sends her into a panic attack several years after the torture.

Dong Eun meticulously plans her revenge on her five bullies spearheaded by Park Yeon Jin (played by Lim Ji Yeon).

How Well Were the Ratings of The Glory Part 1?

Just three days since its release, The Glory has received over 25.4 million hours of viewing throughout the world. The show also ranked among The Top 10 shows in 19 countries, including South Korea, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Taiwan, UAE, Vietnam, Hong Kong, and many more. Both Song Hye Kyo and writer Kim Eun Sook were praised by national and international media for the job they did in The Glory.

Despite the praises, however, the rating for the K-drama was reportedly disappointing as it did not meet the expectations anticipated for a much raved about show. A reason for this is because fans were disappointed by Netflix's decision to split the K-drama into two parts. Instead, many are planning to binge-watch the show when Part 2 releases in March.

Hopefully, the show's ratings will pick up once the second part is released.
