After the success of Bullet Train, another Kōtarō Isaka mystery novel is set for a film adaptation. This time around, the Japanese writer's novel, Shisō Monsutā, is getting adapted into a film called Seesaw Monster.
On November 9, 2022, Netflix announced that they purchased the rights to make Seesaw Monster. The streaming giant also revealed that they cast Anne Hathaway and Salma Hayek Pinault as the antagonists in the movie.

The film is being distributed by Netflix. As of this writing, production has not yet began. It seems like the project is in its very early stage since there is no director announced yet.

What Is Seesaw Monster About?
The movie is being marketed as an action comedy wherein Hathaway and Hayek Pinault are rivals who need to work together. After uncovering her mother-in-law's secrets, the two must work together to keep their family intact.
Not much is known about the plot and thankfully, there aren't too many spoilers for the book. That's because the 2019 Japanese novel has not yet been translated into English.
Who Is Part of Seesaw Monster Cast?
Right now, we only know that Anne Hathaway and Salma Hayek Pinault will be part of the cast. It's possible that Hathaway will play the role of the woman and Hayek Pinault will be the mother-in-law.
The film will be produced by Hayek Pinault through her Ventanarosa Productions company, along with Weed Road Pictures, Somewhere Pictures (Hathaway's production company), and CTB Inc.
Is There a Seesaw Monster Trailer Online?
For now, there is no trailer available for Seesaw Monster yet. The movie is in its very early development stage and thus, there is no material yet to create a trailer.
