What Is One of Us Is Lying About?
One of Us Is Lying is based on the New York Times best-selling novel of the same title written by Karen M. McManus. The book and show follow the lives of five high school students who walk into detention but only four make it out alive.
The five students are composed of a brainiac, a princess, a criminal, an athlete, and a "basket case." The group enters detention when one of the students in the group suddenly suffers from a fatal allergic reaction.
It is then discovered that the four other students in the room have a motive to kill the student. And as it is discovered that the death was not an accident, police believe the death was not an accident.
